Unemployed Members

Members who leave employment, who notify the branch within 6 months of loss of their employment, may become an unemployed member of UNISON for two years from the date of leaving employment. This entitles you to receive benefits from the union for up to two years after that date provided they remain unemployed. Unemployed membership is £4.00 per year for a maximum of two years.
