Changing How This Website Looks

Our website has been designed using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout and styling. This set up allows you to override the settings in your browser, to change the appearance of our fonts, backgrounds, colours, links etc.

Most settings can be amended to suit your own preferences, but we have provided some simple instructions to assist you in:

  • Increasing the font size
  • Changing the font
  • Changing the font colour

Increasing Font Size

Windows

Internet Explorer 6 and 7: - View > Text Size and choose from Smallest to Largest.

Changing the Font

Windows

Internet Explorer 6 or 7: Click on Tools > Internet Options > General > Fonts and choose a different font (eg Times New Roman) as the web page font. To make sure that other people's web pages display in your chosen font, you then need to click the Accessibility button and check the 'Ignore font styles specified on Web pages' box.

Changing the Font Colour

Windows

Internet Explorer 6 or 7: Click on Tools > Internet Options > General > Colors and untick Use windows colors. You can then choose what colours you want what bits of the site to be.
